8-year-old girl’s body found in shed in Karnataka, rape and murder suspected

The body of an eight-year-old girl was found in a shed in an industrial area of Hoskote Taluk in Karnataka on Thursday evening. Police suspect the girl was raped and murdered. A police officer, B Ramesh, told NDTV that a man was playing with the girl and took her to the shed on Thursday afternoon, and assaulted her.
