After VHP diktat, Jagdalpur Catholic schools may have Goddess Saraswati statues installed

Catholic schools in Jagdalpur may soon have statues of Goddess Saraswati along with those of Mother Mary installed following a reported diktat from the VHP. The spokesperson of the district’s Catholic community Father Abraham Kannampala says that they have no objection to installing statues of Goddess Saraswati in their schools but that can be implemented only after the Bishop’s approval.
