As Campa Cola residents fight eviction, civic teams to make another attempt to enter compound

The officials of the BrihanMumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) will attempt to enter the premises of the Campa Cola Society again today to try and evict the residents of illegal flats in the society. Sources say that BMC officials may consider using force. On Friday, some 500 residents, led by women, barricaded themselves in to stop civic teams that arrived with cops to cut off water and power supply to prepare grounds for their eviction in keeping with a Supreme Court order.
