Bail denied, Tarun Tejpal in jail on rape charges

The noose tightens around Tehelka founder Tarun Tejpal after a Goa sessions court rejected his plea for anticipatory bail plea. Tejpal now faces a remand hearing on Sunday, with the Goa police seeking 14 days custody to interrogate Tejpal and investigate the charges made by a female Tehelka journalist.
