BCCI to restrict players’ wives and girlfriends?

According to a media report, the Board of Control for Cricket in India may impose a restriction on the wives and girlfriends of the players. In the wake of India’s horrifying 3-1 series loss to England, the BCCI could ban girlfriends from overseas tours and decide for how long wives can stay with the players. Team India came in for heavy criticism for its lacklustre performance and this could be seen as a disciplinary measure. One such step already taken is when Ravi Shastri was appointed team director for the ODI series which starts on August 25.
