Before the Jamini village relocation in Tadoba Andhari tiger reserve

We have now crossed over 6 Lakh Signatures mark in support of the Aircel-NDTV Tiger Agenda 2014. In this episode, we take a look at how the forest department and the local communities are working hand in hand towards saving our forests and our flora and fauna. Involving local communities in conservation is one of our key agenda points. Relocation of villages that are inside the core area of tiger reserves is already in progress in the Tadoba Andhari tiger reserve in Maharashtra. We visited one such village to see how relocation is made possible. Ketki Angre’s exclusive report.
