BMC to take steps to end bias in letting out and selling of properties in Mumbai

The BMC which is under the control of the Shiv Sena has resolved to take steps that may put an end to the alleged biases by property owners and developers in selling or letting out properties. Several housing societies are known to openly deny accommodation to people who eat non-vegetarian food and also to people belonging to certain religions or communities. On Property India, we ask whether ground level implementation of rules to end this bias would be possible. (Audio in Hindi)
