Can failed relationships lead to rape charges?

The Buck Stops Here: Karnataka BJP leader and Railway Minister Sadanand Gowda’s son Karthik has been accused of cheating and rape by a woman he was allegedly in a relationship with but refused to marry. The police has begun its investigation into what seems to be a love story gone wrong. While it is for a court to decide if there is truth to her charges, after the case is investigated, we’re asking if there is such a thing as crying rape?
