‘Children are not toys’: In Bangalore, protests over alleged rape at school

The alleged rape of a six-year-old at a prominent school in Bangalore has enraged the city and triggered massive protests by parents. Holding pluck-cards some of which read “I am a child, not a toy,” a large group of parents of students from schools across the city took to the streets today and held a protest march seeking immediate arrest of the accused in the case and better safety for their children at schools.
