Cleric doesn’t represent fatwa politics: Arvind Kejriwal to NDTV

Aam Aadmi Party leader Arvind Kejriwal defends his decision to meet a controversial cleric for support, says Maulana Tauqeer is a respectable man. Speaking to NDTV’s Barkha Dutt, Mr Kejriwal says his party doesn’t support politics of hate, and religion and politics can be mixed for harmony. The Maulana has issued several controversial fatwas including the one against writer Taslima Nasreen.
