Delhi University gives in – education politicised?

Left, Right & Centre: Delhi University has finally given-in; the four-year course has been scrapped but the ugly battle with the University Grants Commission (UGC) leaves serious questions regarding the autonomy of the University and government interference. How much government control is too much? Should higher education be freed from political control?
