Delhi University’s four-year programme a disastrous experiment?

The University Grants Commission (UGC) toughened its stand and ordered colleges to conduct new admissions, starting Monday, for a three-year undergraduate programme instead of the four-year one or face consequences. So far Delhi University has refused to budge despite massive opposition from teachers and students alike. Who is looking out for the interests of students in all this confusion?
