Delhi’s power demand peaks, temperatures soar

The monsoon arrived in Delhi last Thursday but there has been no respite from the sweltering hot weather. Delhi has recorded above normal temperature all through the weak. On Friday, the power demand in the national capital again broke all records, touching an all-time high of 5810 Megawatt or MW, a day after registering the highest demand. So how are the residents coping with the heat with long power cuts and water shortages.
