In Chhattisgarh, the BJP and the Congress ran neck and neck all day. But a late evening surge helped the BJP end up with a clear majority. Speaking to NDTV, Chief Minister Raman Singh said the BJP’s win in the state was a combination of the work his government had done as well as campaigning by party’s big leaders.
