Floods in Jammu and Kashmir: Government departments pass the buck
The state of Jammu and Kashmir witnessed the worst floods ever seen in the last sixty years with dozens dead, thousands stranded and several areas cut-off from accessibility. However, government departments pass the buck to one another with the meteorological department claiming to have forewarned while the water commission and municipal departments claiming to have not received any warnings.
