For poll-battered Congress, Mizoram the saving grace

After suffering defeat in four states, there was some good news for the Congress from Mizoram where current Chief Minister Lal Thanhawla led the party to a second straight victory in the assembly elections winning 32 seats out of 40. The 71-year-old Chief Minister has elected to the state assembly for a record ninth time.
