First was the force feed of a canteen staff by a Shiv Sena MP, then there was a series of remarks by politicians – mainly by BJP leaders – calling India a Hindu state to questioning Sania Mirza’s appointment as the ambassador of Telangana for being the ‘daughter-in-law’ of Pakistan.
