From the foothills of Shivalik to the summer capital, Shimla

This week we travel from the foothills of the Shivalik range, hit National Highway 22, to visit one of the most popular summer destinations in India — Shimla. En route, we visit the beautiful Pinjore Gardens, savour an unusual pickle and also drive alongside the toy train at Parwanoo. At Shimla we chat up with author and historian, Raaja Bhasin.
