Gurgaon: India’s first privately funded metro — Rapid Metro begins operation

The country’s first private Rapid Metro began its operations today in Gurgaon, Haryana. The project which is fully privately financed connects with the Delhi Metro line at Sikanderpur station and also uses a common ticketing system with Delhi Metro. Five of the six stations planned in the first phase are open to public at the moment. (Audio in Hindi)
