Helmets mandatory for female pillion riders in Delhi, Sikhs exempted

Beginning 10th of September, rule for mandatory wearing of helmets by women pillion riders of two wheelers has been brought to force in Delhi. Police teams have been deployed at busy areas such as markets, malls and shopping complexes to ensure that the rule is being followed. Sikhs have been exempted from this rule on religious grounds.
