How reliable are exit polls?

On Prime Time we discuss whether exit polls are reliable enough to get an estimate of how the results of elections would turn out to be. Exit polls by most television channels predict a victory for the BJP, though parties depicted as faring badly have lashed out saying these polls are unreliable. (Audio in Hindi)
