In AIADMK’s manifesto, Jayalalithaa’s national ambitions, freebies for all

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa today gave the nation’s voters a glimpse of what she could offer if she played a national role – free laptops, mixers and grinders, fans, cows and goats. The manifesto of Jayalalithaa’s AIADMK party for the Lok Sabha polls, due by May, also makes a series of national-level promises that leave no doubts about her prime ministerial ambitions, or at least, her hope of emerging a key player in a government at the Centre.
