Former Indian opener Sunil Gavaskar is all praise for how the Indian batsmen salvaged a draw against Australia in the fourth Test at the SCG. He feels that India’s bowling needs to be more penetrative but has confidence that the batting lineup can go on to become a formidable unit. While he admits that the scoreline shows India have lost 2-0, he emphasises that if they can learn from this series then it will be worth it.
