Everyday, Abdul Machiswala re-reads a letter his son Anas wrote from jail saying his confession to assassinating politician Haren Pandya was extracted by torture. Anas’ father says his son’s only crime was to be a Muslim. Anas could be just another statistic in the annals of POTA, the anti-terror law that many say became a tool of terror itself.
