India’s mission to Mars, scheduled for lift off on October 28, is more about technology and less about science explains, Dr. J N Goswami, Director of the Physical Research Laboratory, Ahmedabad. India will carry five scientific instruments to study the Red Planet. Dr Goswami was the chief scientist for India’s maiden mission to the moon, Chandrayaan-1, and was part of the team that found water on the moon. He spoke to NDTV’s Science Editor Pallava Bagla on the sidelines of the Indian Science Congress in Kolkata earlier this year.
