Is Jayalalithaa now a PM aspirant?

With barely five months to go for the general elections in 2014, the Congress is not alone at the drawing board. It seems Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa wants to shift base from Chennai’s Fort St. George to the Red Fort in Delhi. Her party, the AIADMK’s General Council today asked its cadre to win all 40 Lok Sabha seats in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry, so that the party could fast-track its way to Delhi.
