This complex piece of electronics that weighs 1350 kg was fabricated in a record 15 months.There are speculations that the planetary juxtaposition may not be the only reason for the fast tracking of the mission and the desire to beat India’s Asian rival China in reaching the Martian orbit could be a factor.
