ISL aimed at helping Indian football: Abhishek Bachchan to NDTV

Co-owner of Indian Super League side, Chennaiyin F.C. and Bollywood star Abhishek Bachchan told NDTV that people should respect the fact that this venture is aimed at helping Indian football. The actor was responding to criticism that the new league, which will kick off on October 12, is too heavy on glamour. Bachchan said if his stardom helped the Chennai side and helped Indian football in the longer run, he was happy to lend his stature to the ISL.
