Jayalalithaa forges alliance with Left in Tamil Nadu

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa, watched as a key player in the general elections due by May, has announced that she is extending her alliance in the state with Left parties – CPM and CPI – to the Lok Sabha polls. On Wednesday, her AIADMK and the Left will participate in a bigger meeting of 11 parties in the capital.
