Jayalalithaa, prisoner 7402, granted bail by Supreme Court
J Jayalalithaa has been granted bail by the Supreme Court in a corruption case on medical grounds. The former Tamil Nadu chief minister has been in a Bangalore jail for three weeks after she was convicted and sentenced to four years in prison by trial court.
