Journalist threatened by RSS over article on Narendra Modi: Ajay Maken

Fresh embarassment for the Congress after former Union Minister Ajay Maken wrote to Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde demanding action against the Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh (RSS) and other elements of the Sangh Parivar for allegedly threatening a journalist. The journalist in question, Vidya Subhramaniam, has denied that she ever approached the Congress party with her complaint. Mr Maken used the alleged complaint as the basis for his latest attack on BJP’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi, alleging that Ms Subhramaniam had received threats for writing against Mr Modi.
