Love jihad: High Court seeks response

Has the idea of ‘love jihad’ has been concocted without any statistical evidence and by simply blowing stray incidents of inter-religious marriage out of proportion? The Lucknow bench of Allahabad High Court demanded responses from the Centre, State as well as EC to a public interest litigation filed against BJP leaders for ‘spreading communal tension’ by campaigning about ‘love jihad’.
