Mary Kom joins PM Narendra Modi’s Swachh Bharat Abhiyan

London Olympic boxing bronze medallist MC Mary Kom on Friday joined Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Swachh Bharat Abhiyan (Clean India Mission), sweeping and cleaning the streets of Imphal. Mary Kom, who won a gold medal in the recently-held Incheon Asian Games, was accompanied by Manipur Rifles personnel, members of her boxing academy and hostellers of the Manipur Baptist Convention Centre.
