May recommend Saina Nehwal for Padma Awards: Sports minister to NDTV

Sports Minister Sarbananda Sonowal said that Saina Nehwal could be considered for the Padma Awards after initially not being recommended. Speaking exclusively to NDTV, Sonowal said that the letter from the Badminton Association was received by his staff just a day before. He added that Saina was one of the greatest sportspersons in the country and her hard work and dedication was exemplary.
