Modi has the right to drive in Varanasi: Arun Jaitley to NDTV

There’s a big showdown between the BJP and the Election Commission officials in Varanasi after permission was denied to Narendra Modi’s rallies and events in Varanasi city limits. BJP’s Arun Jaitley shot off three letters to Election Commission demanding shifting of the Returning Officer, calling him biased. The poll officer says they have now given permission for all rallies. The BJP on its part says they never asked for Cutting Memorial as the alternate venue for Mr Modi’s rally.
