Mumbai: Women Beat Marshall squad to aid in women safety

Mumbai police has added to its fleet an elite team of 200 woman police officers who would patrol the city on motorbikes and aid in women safety. The team that is equipped with motorcycles, revolvers and with wireless devices would be alerted by the control room when a call is received by the women’s helpline so that they can go to provide help to the person(s) in distress.
