Music director Bappi Lahiri joins BJP

Music director Bappi Lahiri joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Friday, saying he wanted to “now work for the country and people”. “After giving 42 years of my life to performing, want to work for the country and the people,” Lahiri said after joining the party in the presence of BJP president Rajnath Singh.
