NDTV opinion poll: Uttar Pradesh’s huge benefit for BJP

In Uttar Pradesh, the BJP is set for an A+ performance, winning more than 50 of the state’s 80 parliamentary seats, according to NDTV’s latest opinion poll. The party gets 51 seats, that’s a whopping gain of 41 seats from the last election in 2009. Its prime ministerial candidate, Narendra Modi, and party president Rajnath Singh are running from UP.
