NGT seeks Centre’s response on polluted rivers in Western UP

Experts on News Point talk about the alarming levels of pollution in the rivers of Western Uttar Pradesh and how people as well as the environment has been severely affected due to it. We also try to find what governments could do to stop further damage to the environment and steps to be taken to rehabilitate affected population. The National Green Tribunal sought a response from the Centre as well as UP government on water pollution in rivers of Western UP following a plea by an NGO. (Audio in Hindi)
