On TV, Jaya Bachchan will be late

Jaya Bachchan, who was all set to follow in husband Amitabh Bachchan’s small screen footsteps, will make her TV debut somewhat late. The adaptation of Gujarati author Kajal Oza’s novel Yog Viyog, co-starring Mrs Bachchan and Vinod Khanna, was to have started shooting this month but has been delayed, reportedly because the hunt is still on for an actress to play the younger version of Mrs Bachchan.
