Panjab University above the IITs in world rankings

Panjab University, Chandigarh ranks the highest among India’s universities in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2013-14. Vice-chancellor of Panjab University, AK Grover said “the university was deemed to be the best in India in 1946 and even University of Cambridge and University of Oxford wanted to make it a sister university.” (Audio in Hindi)
