Positive on PSU banks: Deven Choksey

Deven Choksey, MD of KR Choksey Securities, said the government’s actions in reviving the power sector will also benefit public sector banks whose assets are locked up in some power-generating companies. Along with the easing of pressure in non-performing assets, a likely fall in interest rates will also benefit the public sector banks, he added.
