Prime Time: Has Haryana govt surrendered before Hisar ‘godman’?

On Prime Time we ask whether self-styled ‘godmen’ can show disregard to rule of the land and create a fortress around them to prevent arrests for a crime they are charged with. After repeated failures to appear before the court over a contempt of court case, the Punjab and Haryana High Court issued a fresh non-bailable warrant against ‘godman’ Sant Rampal. Thousands of supporters have formed a human shield around the ashram to prevent his arrest and several thousand armed ‘commandos’ are reportedly positioned to secure the ashram and prevent the police from entering to arrest Rampal.
