On Prime Time, we discuss the need for an effective, reliable and structured police verification system in the country. After the rape of a woman passenger by a Uber cab driver in Delhi, it was found that he had submitted a certificate attested by the police saying that there is no record of him having committed any crimes, to Uber. However, investigations proved that the man is a serial offender having accused of serious crimes in the past. (Audio in Hindi)
