Rahul’s roadshow: Gains for Congress?

Roadside Republic: In Jharkhand, the Congress is aiming to go from its 2009 performance of 1 in 14 Lok Sabha seats to a more respectable tally in 2014. The Congress is now in alliance with Shibu Soren in the state. Rahul Gandhi visited Jharkhand on Friday for his first roadshow in Jharkhand. The show was curtailed because of security reasons but the question is whether Rahul Gandhi can help the Congress perform better in the state. Also why is a state so high on natural resources doing so badly when it comes to human development indicators.
