Removing UPA appointees – posts politicised?

Tonight on Left, Right & Centre : After governors, the new National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government goes after other United Progressive Alliance (UPA) appointees and has asked for multiple resignations from organisations like the National Commission for Women (NCW) and the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA). Have these posts been totally politicised? Is this political vendetta or is this good for governance?
