Row over Rahul Gandhi’s ‘ISI’ remark at rally

On The Buck Stops Here, we debate the new controversy that Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi has sparked off. Mr Gandhi said that an intelligence officer told him that Pakistan’s ISI is approaching the Muslim youth who lost family members in last month’s Muzaffarnagar riots. Muslim clerics have called the comments dangerous and irresponsible. The BJP accuses Mr Gandhi of tainting an entire community. The Congress has defended Rahul Gandhi’s comments by saying they show concern but now he’s being asked to name the intelligence officer who he quoted while saying this.
