Sachin Tendulkar steers clear of IPL controversy; court hearing today

Asked for his views on the Justice Mudgal report on spot-fixing in IPL, veteran cricketer Sachin Tendulkar said it won’t be wise for him to comment on the matter. Supreme Court is expected to make a decision on the matter today (November 24) after the IPL probe report confirmed that BCCI president-in-exile N. Srinivasan failed to act against guilty players during IPL. The report had also confirmed his son-in-law, Gurunath Meiyappan, as a team official of Chennai Super Kings and that he indulged in betting.
