Scarcity of poor in Haryana to allot flats under EWS housing scheme?

The Haryana Urban Development Authority had constructed homes for the economically weaker sections but these have been lying vacant for 32 months with the authorities claiming they couldn’t find poor people to allot these homes. When we visited some poor neighbourhoods, the residents claim they are not aware of any scheme entitling them to concrete homes at subsidised rates. (Audio in Hindi)
