School children design device that can charge your phone as you walk

Two school children from Delhi have designed a charger that can be attached to one’s shoes and it generates electricity using the frictional energy to charge phones. The boys from Mount Carmel School in Delhi say that though they have designed the device to charge phones, the idea could be implemented in a variety of other ways to produce electricity using energy of movement of people.
